QQ Yak 54 35cc - First Flight With Aura
After following all the steps in the Manual and the Aura Install Wiki page, you are ready for your first QQ Yak 54 35cc with Aura!
Step 1 - Test your Failsafe
While on the ground, Test your failsafe behavior by turning your radio off
Step 2 - Know your Gyro Kill Switch
If you followed the instructions above, toggling the Ch7/Aux2 channel on your Transmitter will turn the Gyro functionality ON and OFF.
- Make sure to test this before flying
- If you need to turn off the Gyro in flight, don't forget to toggle this switch
Step 3 - Put the Aura in Flight Mode 2
Move your Gear Switch to the Middle Position which will put the Aura in Flight Mode 2
- Flight mode 2 is Low Rates and Low Gains. This is a great Flight Mode for the initial take off and trim flight.
