Gyro Gain Kill Switch Quick Set Procedure for RV-8 60E G2
To enter Quick Set mode, the Aura must receive a valid signal from the Receiver when the Aura is powered up.
Make sure your Transmitter is setup with your CH7/Aux2 channel assigned to a 2 Position switch for the Gyro Gain Kill switch.
Step 1 - Enter Quick Set mode
- Make sure all power is off on the RV-8 60E G2
- Remove the prop before making changes
- Turn on your transmitter
- Remove the Servo lead from Aura Port S2.
- Put a bind plug in Aura Port S2.
- Plug in the battery to power up the RV-8 60E G2
- The Orange LED will be OFF while the Green LED is ON indicating you are in the Quick Set mode and receiving a valid signal from the Receiver.
Step 2 - Choose Gyro Gain Kill Switch Option
After entering Quick Set mode as described above, toggle the CH7/Aux2 channel switch on the transmitter to ENABLE or DISABLE the Gyro Gain Kill switch.
- If the Blue LED is ON, the Gyro Gain Kill switch option is ENABLED in the Aura.
- If the Blue LED is OFF, the Gyro Gain Kill switch option is DISABLED in the Aura.
Step 3 - Save the Gyro Gain Kill Switch Option
- After correctly toggling the CH7/Aux2 switch to Enable or Disable the Gyro Gain Kill switch option, remove the bind plug save the settings.
- The LEDs will turn on while the Aura is saving, then will go back to their previous state.
- Completely power off the RV-8 and Aura
- Replace the Servo Lead in Aura Port S2
- Power up, confirm that the Gyro Gain Kill switch can kill the Gyro Gain with the CH7/Aux2 Switch and Fly!
