How to Quick Flip between the Stock and Expert Flight Modes

Quick Flip Procedure for RV-8 10E G2

No Transmitter, Receiver or PC is needed to complete the Quick Flip procedure.

Step 1 - Enter Quick Flip

1. Unplug the battery from the airplane
2. Turn OFF your transmitter.
3. Connect the battery to power up the Airplane. The Blue LED will flash indicating Gyro Calibration.
4. After it stops flashing, orient the model with a straight down nose attitude and keep it still.

Step 2 - Flip the Flight Modes

When the profile switches, the Green LED will begin to flash and the Servos will power up and center.

1. The Elevator will then move 3 times to indicate the Expert Profile is being used or 6 times to indicate the Stock Profile is being used

Step 3 - Exit Quick Flip and Restart

1. Once the Elevator deflections are complete, return the model to a level attitude
2. Disconnect the battery
3. Turn ON your transmitter and connect your battery as normal. Use your flight mode switch to check the Flight Modes act as expected and go fly!
4. To switch back to the other profile, just repeat this procedure.
