Twin Otter 80E Flight Modes
There is only one Stock profile for the Twin Otter 80E, but the Twin Otter 80E Quick Set feature allows the pilot to:
- Enable/Disable Crow via a 2 Position Switch on Ch8/Aux3. (Crow is initially DISABLED, but can be ENABLED).

Twin Otter 80E - Stock Flight Modes
The Twin Otter 80E ships with the 'Stock Flight Modes' detailed below:
- Flight Mode 1: Sport (Gyro Off)
- For general flight
- Rates are low and expos are tuned for general flight
- Live Wing OFF - Flaps operate as normal
- Differential Thrust OFF
- Gyro Gains are OFF
- Flight Mode 2: Sport (Gyro On)
- For more advanced aerobatics like tumbles and spins while at higher airspeed
- Rates are low and expos are tuned for general flight
- Live Wing is On - Flaps work in conjunction with ailerons for added roll authority
- Differential Thrust OFF
- Gyro Gains are ON and set low.
- Flight Mode 3: Advanced (Gyro On)
- For advanced aerobatics and 3D flight
- Rates are highest and expos are tuned for comfortable flight
- Live Wing is ON - Flaps work in conjunction with ailerons for added roll authority
- Differential Thrust can be turned ON with the CH7/Aux2 switch
- Gyro Gains are ON and set to their highest setting.
